An entrepreneurial journey

I am Michael Pretorius – my life has been an entrepreneurial journey. It has been sometimes challenging, sometimes fun, always enlightening and hopefully inspirational.

New business developer, entrepreneur, business owner, sales person and Concrete Technologist, I own a company called CT INDUSTRIES, with divisions that serve the Industrial, Construction and Mining sectors of South Africa.

This is my personal site. Here I showcase my activities, experiences, thoughts, actions, behaviours, deliverables, businesses and lifestyle. All these are underpinned by a great desire to enjoy the game of life and a passion for quality.

The journey is not over – it has just begun and whether it is as a boss, a partner or as one who serves others, my goal is to continue to evolve and add value to the lives of every business and human I have the pleasure to encounter.

Since 2002 I have been responsible for closing some impressively large sales for my companies. These have been sales to clients in the Automotive, Technology, Manufacturing, Aeronautics, Medical, Food and Beverage, Arts and culture, as well as Government sectors.

In all of these sales I’ve been privileged to work with exceptional team members – Specifiers, Engineers, Architects, suppliers, etc. together developing ground-breaking solutions for our clients.
